Attending the announcement ceremony were Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa, Chairman of Lao Cai City People's Committee (Lao Cai Province), Ms. Nguyen Thi Vi Hue, Deputy Director of Lao Cai Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) and representatives of relevant departments and offices of Lao Cai City and DONRE of Lao Cai.

At the announcement ceremony, the representative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment announced Decision 1535/QD-UBND dated June 20, 2024 of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province on the re-establishment of the Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch and decisions on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch officially came into operation from September 1, 2024, with a staff of 20 officers and employees. Mr. Nguyen Van Huan, Director of the Bac Ha District Land Registration Office Branch, was transferred to hold the position of Director of the Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Vi Hue, Deputy Director of Lao Cai Department of Natural Resources and Environment, requested the staff of Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch to promote the spirit of solidarity and enthusiasm in work; coordinate well with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and communes and wards of the city in professional work; proactively advise and resolve work according to assigned authority and tasks.

On behalf of the Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch, Mr. Nguyen Van Huan promised to join hands and strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks and plans.

It is known that in 2015, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee decided to establish a 1-level Land Registration Office including: Lao Cai Provincial Land Registration Office and 9 branches in 9 districts and cities. By September 2021, Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch merged into the Provincial Land Registration Office under Decision No. 3119 of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee and transferred all personnel, locations, and tasks to Headquarters Block 7.

On June 20, 2024, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1535 on the re-establishment of Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch. Thus, after 3 years of merger, Lao Cai City Land Registration Office Branch was officially re-established.
