Sun PhuQuoc Airways welcomes 2 Airbus A321CEOs at the same time, 'lightning fast' completing the fleet

The event took place just 9 days after Sun PhuQuoc Airways welcomed its first aircraft on August 10, demonstrating the airline’s rapid fleet deployment and determination to realize its commercial operation goal by the end of this year, with a new and modern fleet of aircraft. Among them, the Airbus A321CEO is one of the most successful aircraft models in the history of commercial aviation, thanks to its harmonious combination of operational efficiency and passenger experience.

Passenger compartment design pioneers in spaciousness and comfort

With a fuselage diameter of 3.95 m and a cabin width of 3.70 m, the A321CEO offers the widest space in its class. This design allows for 18-inch wide standard seats and wide aisles, providing superior comfort and greater convenience in moving around the cabin. The cabin is designed with the passenger experience at the heart of it. The large overhead bins allow cabin-sized suitcases to be fitted vertically – maximising storage capacity.

Large, strategically placed windows flood the cabin with natural light, while anti-eye strain LED lighting helps reduce jet lag on long flights. Improved soundproofing and improved air quality from an advanced climate control system that adjusts temperature and humidity to each zone all contribute to a more comfortable and relaxing flight.

SPA's two A321CEO aircraft are equipped with CFM International CFM56-5B engines - the world's most famous commercial engine line for reliability, chosen by hundreds of large and small airlines. The entire technical condition of the engines is monitored in real time by a modern computer system and analysis software, ensuring absolute safety and stability in operation.

The CFM56-5B offers a flexible thrust range, allowing the aircraft to take off safely even on short runways or in hot and humid climates. The innovative DAC (Double Annular Combustor) combustion chamber significantly reduces NOx emissions, while the core engine structure is inherited and upgraded from previous generations, optimizing the balance between durability and fuel efficiency. In particular, the engine fully meets ICAO's strict environmental standards on emissions and noise, and is capable of using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) when blending, demonstrating SPA's commitment to green and environmentally friendly operations.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways' Different Development Strategy
