The market for goods printed with the red flag and yellow star has become more vibrant than ever. If in previous holidays, the national flag symbol with the prominent yellow star was often decorated on shirts, scarves, hats, caps..., now it has spread to items such as phone cases, thermos cups, hats, backpacks, hair clips, stickers...
According to a market survey, national flag stickers and headbands are commonly sold at prices ranging from 10,000 to 25,000 VND/piece; national flags are priced at 15,000 to 120,000 VND/piece. Despite slight price adjustments compared to last year, purchasing power is still very positive, especially during the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
This year in particular, many fashion shops have launched specially designed shirts and scarves for sale at prices ranging from 100,000 to 450,000 VND each. Many shirts are stylized, printed with the map of Vietnam, slogans such as "Proud of Vietnam", or images of leaders. Each product is both a symbol and a way to express national pride in its own way.

Ms. Mai, the owner of a T-shirt shop on Hang Ma Street, said: "Since mid-July, customers have been coming to buy. The round-neck, cool, easy-to-wear red-star T-shirt model is the most popular item. Prices range from 70,000 - 100,000 VND/piece. Many people not only buy for themselves but also order dozens of them as uniforms for their offices or groups of friends."
Ms. Huynh Thuy Vy in Dong Da Ward shared: "I spent nearly 2 million VND to buy red flag and yellow star T-shirts and 4 red hats for the whole family to wear on the occasion of National Day, September 2. The price is a bit higher than usual, but I still feel it is worth it. This is an occasion for the whole family to show their love for the Fatherland, to go out in the streets in bright red shirts with a special feeling of pride."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hang, an online seller on TikTok Shop, shared: "From mid-June, the number of orders started to increase rapidly. The closer it gets to the holiday, the more the shop has to operate at full capacity, closing the shop until late at night every day. There are days when I sell more than 1,200 shirts. In particular, wholesale customers account for a very large proportion, from schools, companies, and organizations buying several hundred shirts to wear as uniforms for festivals, parades, or group activities."
According to Ms. Hang, this year the fashion shopping trend has changed a lot, people buy not only for the need of use, but also to express patriotism, pride, connection and gratitude for history. Red shirts, national flags, accessories printed with the map of Vietnam... are creating a united, solemn and emotional atmosphere across the country.
