According to some restaurant and hotel owners in Sam Son City, this year the number of tourists flocking to Sam Son beach to bathe, sightsee, relax, and eat has decreased in popularity compared to previous years.

The reason may be that the weather during the first few days of the holiday was not favorable, not suitable for swimming and cooling off.

Besides, the number of tourists going to Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces for sightseeing and entertainment right at the time of celebrating the great celebration of April 30 - the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day - is quite large.

On May 1 and 2, the afternoons are hot and sunny, convenient for swimming to cool off. However, the majority of tourists who go to Sam Son beach during the two days off mentioned above are from the province. Visiting and swimming at Sam Son beach during the day, leaving in the morning and returning in the afternoon.

The reason is that many groups of tourists from other provinces only stayed in Sam Son City on April 30, and checked out on the morning or afternoon of May 1 to return home.

During the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays, the hotel's room occupancy rate reached 80%. From May 3 to the end of the holiday, the number of guests began to thin out.

"To attract tourists to Sam Son for sightseeing and relaxation in the summer of 2025, Thanh Nien Guesthouse is offering a discount policy. For groups of 10 rooms or more, we will reduce room rates by 20-30% (depending on the room and time).
