Organizing the political activity "Keeping the Party member oath" is one of the important contents that Cam Xuyen Party Committee has deployed to implement Resolution No. 21 - NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022 of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) on strengthening and consolidating grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members in the new period; Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the Central Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation".

In early October 2023, implementing the plan of the Cam Vinh Commune Party Committee to organize a political activity "Keeping the Party member's oath", the Cam Vinh Primary School Party Cell organized a quality and meaningful activity. At the beginning of the activity, the Party members watched the documentary "The Communist Party of Vietnam - a journey of self-reflection" to remind them of the history of the nation. Next, each Party member in the Party cell frankly shared the results of self-review, "self-examination, self-correction", and evaluated the process of fulfilling their oath and promise when joining the Party and when assigned tasks by the organization. Many opinions also analyzed the role and responsibility of Party members, contributing solutions to help build an increasingly clean and strong Party cell.

Together with the Cam Vinh Primary School Party Cell, in October 2023, 10 Party cells of the Cam Vinh Commune Party Committee completed Party cell activities with the theme "Keeping the Party member oath".

Cam Vinh is the first unit of Cam Xuyen District Party Committee to organize a thematic activity on "keeping the oath of party members".

Comrade Nguyen Sieu Cuong - Party Secretary of the commune said: Cam Vinh is the first unit in the entire Cam Xuyen district Party Committee to organize the political activity "Keeping the Party member's oath". "The oath" is a promise before the Party, before the Party cell, a commitment to the things one must do, will do throughout one's life. Every day, reflecting on the oaths before the Party flag will help the team of cadres and Party members have more motivation to overcome difficulties, complete well the assigned tasks; have more "resistance" to overcome trivial temptations, always cultivate, train, and preserve revolutionary moral qualities.

“Therefore, not stopping at this political activity, the Commune Party Committee will regularly instruct Party cells to continue to monitor, supervise, regularly urge and remind to overcome limitations and shortcomings; propose solutions for each Party member to best fulfill his oath and promise” - Comrade Nguyen Sieu Cuong added.

Attending the Party cell meeting of residential group 14, Cam Xuyen town, we could not help but be moved by the sharing of the senior party members. Not only did they express their pride, honor and responsibility in being in the Party ranks, spreading the revolutionary fire, but the party members also expressed many concerns to the younger generation of party members.

Party member Du Van Thinh - Party cell of residential group 14 shared: “As a senior party member of the party cell, I will always be exemplary in every word and action to set an example for the younger generation. I hope that each young party member today, as the generation that builds the future of the country, will keep his oath, train himself, and fulfill his duty as a loyal “servant” of the people.”

It is known that the entire Cam Xuyen District Party Committee has had 27/364 Party cells under the grassroots Party Committees complete the organization of political activities "Keeping the Party member oath". The remaining Party cells strive to complete before February 3, 2024.

To make the content of the meeting more in-depth, the committee has provided detailed instructions on how to prepare reports for party members holding positions and party members not holding positions. The reports are presented to the party cell on the results of reviewing and evaluating the process of fulfilling one's oath and promise.

The District Party Committee's Propaganda Department encourages Party cells and Party committees to organize seminars and exchanges with senior Party members and exemplary Party members, to organize commendations, recognitions and rewards for outstanding collectives and individuals in the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system, and to honor typical examples in studying and following Uncle Ho...
