Concentrate resources to build Gào commune to develop quickly and sustainably

Also attending the Congress were comrade Tran Minh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and units of the province and 140 delegates representing 480 party members of 32 grassroots party organizations under the Gao Commune Party Committee.

The Party Committee of Gao Commune was established on the basis of merging the Party Committees of Gao Commune (old), Ia Kenh Commune and Ia Pech Commune, including 32 affiliated Party organizations and 480 Party members. During the past term, the Party Committees of the 3 communes have achieved many important results in all fields, most of the targets were met and exceeded.

The work of building the Party and the political system has seen many changes; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members have been enhanced. The economy continues to develop, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction, and the mobilization of resources for development investment has been quite good. The value of agricultural production has increased steadily over the years. The annual budget revenue has met and exceeded the target.

National target programs are directed to be implemented synchronously, so the appearance of the countryside is increasingly prosperous. Up to now, 6/17 villages have met the new rural standards. Traditional cultural values are preserved and promoted. Education , health, culture, and social security have many positive changes. The poverty rate has decreased to 3.52%. National defense and security are maintained.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Congress determined the goal of focusing all resources on building Gao commune to develop rapidly and sustainably, improving the quality of people's lives.

In particular, strive for an average annual growth rate of total product value of 8.2% or more; total construction investment capital of 210 billion VND or more; average annual growth rate of total budget revenue of 14.2% or more; retail sales of goods and services of 1,907 billion VND or more; annual reduction of multidimensional poverty rate of 0.78% or more; rate of rural population using clean water of 100%...

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Rah Lan Chung emphasized: The Congress is a political event of important significance, both a continuation of history and at the same time laying the foundation for the new process of construction and development of the Party Committee of Gao commune.

After the merger, Gao commune has a large area, fertile land, which is a favorable condition for agricultural development, especially the formation of large-scale specialized production areas with crops of high economic value; has the potential to develop the energy industry.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee proposed: Immediately after the Congress, the commune needs to urgently coordinate with departments and branches to develop a socio-economic development plan for the commune.

In particular, reviewing the connecting traffic system, focusing on investing in upgrading and expanding important traffic routes. Reviewing and evaluating the river and stream system to calculate and propose the construction of irrigation dams. Planning and implementing high-tech agricultural production models. Proactively planning, supplementing and attracting investment in developing industrial parks and clusters; agricultural processing investment projects; waste treatment plants, etc.

Comrade Rah Lan Chung said that cultural and human development is a solid spiritual foundation for development, while harmoniously resolving social issues. Therefore, the commune needs to continue to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate education and training; improve the quality of teaching and learning; and improve the quality of health care and protection for the people.

Along with that, pay attention and invest properly in culture and society; carry out the restoration, embellishment and renovation of the Revolutionary Base of Zone 9 - Gao Commune; preserve, conserve and promote cultural identities associated with the development of cultural tourism and community tourism. Strengthen national defense, ensure security and order, create a stable environment to serve socio-economic development...

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his belief that with the heroic tradition of the commune and the achievements that have been made, the Party Committee, army and people of Gao commune will overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress, creating a breakthrough on the path of innovation and development.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the appointment of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee and key positions of the Gao Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Gao Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 22 comrades; Comrade Nguyen Huu Sung was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
