The price of gold rings was also kept unchanged by businesses. Phu Quy Group listed it at 115.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 118.7 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of yesterday.

Saigon Jewelry Company Limited continues to set the price at 115 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.5 million VND/tael (sell).

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited also continues to list plain round gold rings at 116.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.7 million VND/tael (sell).

The buying-selling price range commonly given by businesses is 2-3 million VND/tael.

Yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars initially decreased by 700,000 VND/tael, down to 122 million VND/tael, then decreased by 300,000 VND/tael and slipped below the above level. The price of gold rings decreased by 500,000 VND/tael each way.

In the international market, early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,368 USD/ounce, down 17 USD from the peak of 3,385 USD/ounce in last night's trading session and down more than 20 USD/ounce compared to the same time the previous day because investors pushed to sell to take profits.

At nearly 9:00 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,371 USD/ounce, about 15 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
