On the evening of October 28, at October 30 Square (Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province), the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Quang Ninh Province took place, with the theme "Aspiration to build a model Quang Ninh, rich, beautiful, civilized, modern".

Attending the ceremony were President Vo Van Thuong, leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government, ministries, departments, branches, Central Committee and representatives of many provinces and cities across the country, international guests and local leaders, along with thousands of delegates representing all classes of people in the province.

The program was solemnly organized, smoothly combining the ceremony rituals and pre-ceremony activities.

The highlight was the parade in response to the 60th anniversary of the founding of Quang Ninh province, including 39 parade groups with a total of more than 2,500 participants from the armed forces, the people's police, departments, branches, organizations, unions, workers, businessmen, youth, and local people.

Amidst the majestic music, the marching groups demonstrated the strong spirit of Quang Ninh province, which is constantly striving to develop comprehensively in many fields.

In particular, the unique, large-scale drum performance with 600 drums performed by 1,000 artists and actors of the Drum Art Troupe of the People's Police Academy of the Ministry of Public Security brought to the audience and people a heroic and historical atmosphere of the glorious revolutionary tradition, the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant to overcome all difficulties and challenges to complete the tasks of economic, cultural, social, national security and defense development of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province since its establishment, construction and development.

The 60th anniversary is an important milestone not only for the province but also for the people of Quang Ninh and those who love Quang Ninh.
