On May 2, Ms. Hoang Thi Vuong, Head of the Department of Culture - Science and Information of Sa Pa Town (Lao Cai), said that Sa Pa tourism industry had a bumper crop in the first 2 days of the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year.

According to statistics, from April 30 to May 1, Sa Pa tourism welcomed 57,575 visitors, of which 7,357 were international visitors. Total revenue from tourism services reached over 121 billion VND.

According to Ms. Hoang Thi Vuong, the average room occupancy rate during the entire holiday period was up to 95%, and from May 1 to 3, the room occupancy rate reached 99%.

It is expected that during the entire holiday from April 30 to May 1 this year, Sa Pa tourism industry will welcome about 125,000 - 150,000 arrivals, with total revenue estimated at nearly 500 billion VND.

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, Sa Pa is having many activities to attract tourists. The most prominent of these is the Fansipan Rose Festival 2025, taking place from April 26 to June 30 at the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area.

The festival has 300,000 rose bushes of 150 different varieties, turning Sa Pa into a colorful flower valley, an ideal check-in spot for tourists who love nature and photography.

In addition, the Sa Pa Summer Festival - Land of Love, opened at the Sapa tennis court from the evening of April 29 until early May with many exciting activities, such as recreating "Sa Pa Love Market" on the evening of Saturday, May 3, at the Ethnic Culture Park.

The Ethnic Cultural Space in Sa Pa Town from April 29 to May 25 will have many activities introducing cuisine and traditional crafts of ethnic minorities.

In addition, the festival on Ham Rong Mountain takes place from April 30 to May 4, offering visitors many experiences exploring nature and highland culture.

Also according to the People's Committee of Sa Pa Town, in May, this locality will organize the 4th Sa Pa - Water Season Run, combining sports and exploring the beauty of terraced fields during the water season.
