Attending the event were comrade Le Van Minh, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Information; the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Photographic Artists; veterans who are characters in the photo book and a large public who love the art of photography.
The exhibition introduces a photo book of 108 works selected from those taken by photographer Tran The Phong during activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Each photo is a vivid story, filled with emotions of happy and joyful moments of many classes of people and generations when they join in the joy of a peaceful and unified country, expressing love for the homeland and national pride.
On this occasion, photographer Tran The Phong also awarded 11 scholarships (1 million VND/scholarship) to visually impaired students of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Special School.
The exhibition takes place from August 13 to 15, at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.
