In recent times, the folk dance movement has developed strongly in many localities in the province. In order to carry out the movement in depth, practically contributing to improving health and building a grassroots cultural life, the Provincial Cultural Center has chosen De Tham ward to establish a folk dance club as a model, and then expand it to the whole province. After a period of operation, the De Tham ward folk dance club is now a regular meeting place for nearly 150 members who are women in the ward.

The performances are elaborately staged, expressing love for homeland and country.

At the club's launch, members participated in many elaborate folk dance performances, directly instructed by staff from the Provincial Cultural Center and the City Cultural and Sports Center. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
