In the first quarter, the Provincial People's Committee was resolute in directing, focusing on closely following the directives, resolutions, programs, and telegrams of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the directives and instructions of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee; implementing many groups of synchronous solutions, quickly overcoming difficulties, ensuring social security, security, politics, social order and safety, promptly removing bottlenecks, difficulties, and obstacles for socio-economic development.

As a result, the province's economic situation achieved positive results: The industrial production index of the whole industry is estimated to increase by 12.74% over the same period, the consumption index of the processing and manufacturing industry increased by approximately 7.0% and the inventory index in March decreased by 17.1%; key products such as automobiles, motorbikes, and electronic components all achieved a fairly good growth rate compared to the same period; agricultural production continued to receive attention, policies to support restructuring of the agricultural sector continued to be implemented; service and trade activities took place vigorously, total retail sales of goods, revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, travel and consumer service revenue reached 20.97 trillion VND, up 11.88%; the total number of visitors to the province for tourism and relaxation reached 2.85 million, equal to 25.7% of the annual plan and up 11% over the same period last year.
