Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan pays tribute to heroic martyrs in Dien Bien

Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Acting President, together with the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and provincial leaders observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple.

Joining the delegation, on the side of Dien Bien province, were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Acting President, together with the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and provincial leaders paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and delegates offered flowers and incense in memory of the great President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and the cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline workers and people who fought and sacrificed heroically on the heroic land of Dien Bien Phu, contributing to the historic victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world".
