Quang Nam focuses on helping people overcome the consequences of the tornado

On June 28, the leader of the People's Committee of Que Chau commune (Que Son district, Quang Nam province) said that on the afternoon of June 27, a tornado swept through a residential area in the area, causing the roofs of many houses to be blown off.

Accordingly, at 2:00 p.m. on June 27, a tornado appeared in Phu Da, Phuoc Duc, and Khanh Duc villages of Que Chau commune. Within about 10 minutes, the tornado damaged nearly 30 houses, many of which had their roofs blown off and many trees fell.

On the morning of June 28, leaders of Que Chau commune and Que Son district visited the scene to visit and encourage the people, and at the same time supported them to buy corrugated iron to re-roof their houses. In the immediate future, any house with heavy damage will receive support of 1 million VND, and any house with light damage will receive support of 500,000 VND.

Local authorities are continuing to assess the damage to support people.
