Russian soldiers come to Vietnam to participate in the National Day parade on September 2

At noon on August 20, Russian armed forces soldiers arrived at Noi Bai International Airport to prepare to participate in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

As soon as the plane carrying the Russian soldiers landed at Noi Bai airport, the Ministry of National Defense 's functional agencies coordinated with relevant agencies and units to complete the entry procedures for the delegation and ensure the equipment and materials were transported quickly and safely.

Colonel Phung Chi Cao, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Hanoi Capital Command, welcomed and presented flowers to congratulate the Russian armed forces soldiers visiting Vietnam.

Coming to Vietnam this time, the Russian armed forces delegation includes dozens of soldiers, each about 1.8 - 1.9 m tall.

After the welcoming ceremony, the delegation moved to their accommodation as planned, ready to participate in the training program, carry out parade and marching activities in the upcoming celebration.

Previously, at the 4th general training session of the armed forces at the National Training Center 4, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, said that the parade with Vietnam's forces will include friendly countries. It is expected that the first will be China, the second will be the Russian Federation, the third will be Laos, and the fourth will be Cambodia.

Before the Russian military delegation, military delegations from Laos and Cambodia arrived in Vietnam to prepare for the parade.

The parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd will take place on the morning of September 2nd at Ba Dinh Square, including activities such as the traditional torch procession, flag-raising ceremony; the parade program includes: air force salute, military parade, and marching of the blocks in the order of the parade of the honor blocks, the parade of the walking blocks, the Vietnam People's Army blocks first, then the foreign army blocks, then the militia, guerrillas, and the police blocks.

After the parade, the march of the walking group will be followed by the parade of vehicles, military artillery, special police vehicles and the masses. After the parade, there will be an art program.
