Military Region 1 summarizes and draws experience from the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term

From August 13 to 15, the Party Committee of Military Region 1 successfully organized the 16th Congress with nearly 270 delegates attending. Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense attended and gave a speech. The functional agencies of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Department of Area II ( Central Inspection Commission ) attended and monitored the congress.

At the conference, the summary report and discussion opinions unanimously assessed: The preparation and organization of the Congress were carried out closely, comprehensively, and in accordance with regulations; documents, personnel, propaganda, ceremonies, security and safety all met requirements. The election process was carried out in accordance with principles, focused and democratic, the results of the election of the Party Executive Committee and key positions received high votes of confidence. The Congress drew many valuable experiences, especially in promoting the leadership role of Party committees, political commissars, political officers and commanders; closely following the practical situation, promptly updating and supplementing new content...

In his concluding remarks, Major General La Cong Phuong emphasized: In the coming time, the Party Committee of the Military Region will focus on leading and directing the promotion of the results of the Congress in conjunction with activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Military Region's Armed Forces; complete the Congress dossier, report to the Central Military Commission for approval of the election results; develop working regulations and supplement leadership regulations for key work aspects. At the same time, direct subordinate Party Committees to specify targets, develop action programs and implementation plans close to task requirements.
