At the Festival, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Tul Commune, Le Quang Bat, reported on the work of building the movement of All People Protecting National Security in the area. Ea Tul Commune is located in the Northeast of Cu M'gar District, with a natural area of ​​5,689 hectares; the population consists of 2,868 households with 12,803 people, of which ethnic minorities account for 97%. The whole commune has 2 main religions: Protestantism and Catholicism.

Over the past year, in addition to directing the Commune Police force to resolutely deploy measures to combat all types of crimes, the Commune Party Committee and People's Committee regularly paid attention to leading and directing the work of building the movement of All People Protecting National Security, creating conditions for agencies, organizations, enterprises, educational institutions, and the masses to promote their proactive and positive roles in ensuring security and order.

The Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune have directed the development of models, advanced examples, good and creative practices, launched many self-management movements on security and order; deployed plans and solutions to fight, prevent and combat crimes, and promoted the strength of the entire political system and all classes of people. Up to now, security in the fields of ethnicity, religion, and rural security in the commune has been maintained. Crime and criminal offenses have been reduced, continuing to maintain a drug-free area. Some self-management models on security and order suitable to the characteristics of the area include: the "3 safeties of security and order" model at Ea Tul parish, the "Coffee crop protection post" model, and the "Security camera" model. In the process of implementing the movement "All people protect national security", many outstanding collectives and individuals have appeared.

The National Day for National Security Protection in Ea Tul commune in 2023 aims to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere towards the 78th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945/August 19, 2023) and the 18th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005/August 19, 2023). The festival took place with many exciting activities, attracting a large number of people to participate such as: Youth Football Tournament, Mass Art Performance, visiting and giving gifts to policy families; medical examination and treatment, providing free medicine to people; organizing folk games...

Speaking at the festival, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang acknowledged and praised the achievements of the movement of the whole people to protect national security that the government and people of Ea Tul commune have achieved. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Central Highlands is a region with a particularly important strategic position in terms of economy, politics, culture, society, national defense, security and foreign affairs of the whole country. Dak Lak province is a "strategic area of ​​strategy", with potential complications in terms of security and order.

Therefore, in the coming time, Dak Lak province in general, Cu M'gar district and Ea Tul commune in particular need to continue to effectively and substantially implement and spread the movement of All people protecting national security; promote the pioneering role of the Public Security, the Fatherland Front, and mass mobilization agencies at all levels in implementing the movement; pay attention to building and consolidating a comprehensively strong grassroots political system.

The organization of the National Day for National Security Protection needs to be maintained regularly, focusing on the grassroots level, attracting a large number of people to participate. In implementing patriotic emulation movements, it is important to focus on innovating content and form, suitable to local conditions, replicating good models and good practices.

In a solemn and united atmosphere, the people of Cu M'gar district presented brocade shirts and bracelets to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and the leaders of the Central Government, the Ministry of Public Security, and provincial leaders attending the Festival. The gifts expressed the respect and desire to convey the message of connection, respect, and gratitude of the people of Ea Tul commune. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, along with delegates and people of Ea Tul commune, planted a memorial tree in the grounds of the Commune Cultural House.

The Central and Dak Lak provincial delegation presented 12 gifts to policy families; 10 gifts to village elders and prestigious people; 20 gifts to disadvantaged households in the commune. Dak Lak provincial police presented gifts to the Ea Tul Protestant Association and Ea Tul Parish.

On this occasion, Mr. Y Bhem Nie, a police officer of Tu village, Ea Tul commune, was honored to receive the National Security Protection Medal from the Ministry of Public Security. In addition, 1 collective and 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Public Security; 1 collective and 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 2 collectives and 5 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police... for their outstanding achievements in building the movement of All People Protecting National Security.
