Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visits and works in Dong Nai province

On March 24, Party Central Committee member and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan offered incense at the Martyrs' Temple, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, veterans, and families with meritorious services, and worked with leaders of the People's Committee of Xuan Loc District (Dong Nai); visited, encouraged, and congratulated officers and soldiers of Division 302 - Military Region 7 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Accompanying her was Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Party Central Committee member and Commander of Military Region 7.

The Vice President visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Do Thi Mien, Nguyen Thi Be, Tran Thi Kim Ve; visited, encouraged and presented gifts to representatives of 30 families of people with revolutionary contributions in Xuan Loc district.

Here, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Vice President warmly visited, expressed gratitude and best wishes to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and relatives of families with meritorious services to the Revolution.

The Vice President expressed his joy at visiting Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai province, where many feats and achievements were made in the resistance war and the renovation process, contributing to the victory, complete liberation of the South, national reunification and the renovation process.

Congratulating the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Nai province and Xuan Loc district for their impressive achievements in recent times, the Vice President emphasized that Dong Nai is located in a strategic position in the Southeast region, where there are many potentials and advantages to become a driving force for the development of the country and the region; Dong Nai has a synchronous transportation system, port system and logistics; currently there are 32 industrial parks, attracting businesses and investors from 35 countries and territories. In 2024, Dong Nai's budget revenue will reach more than 62,000 billion VND, export turnover will reach more than 40 billion USD...

Along with economic development, Xuan Loc district and Dong Nai province have focused on taking care of the work of gratitude and repayment to policy beneficiaries. The province currently has more than 16,000 people receiving regular monthly allowances according to the regime, including Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and policy families.

The Vice President suggested that Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai province continue to take care of policy beneficiaries; pay attention to workers from other provinces and cities who are living and working in the area. In the coming time, the province needs to be more determined, carry out three main groups of tasks, including successfully implementing the Central's resolutions and policies on economic development, determined to achieve a growth rate of over 8%; well implement the streamlining of organization, rearrangement of administrative boundaries to build a streamlined, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus, achieving the set goals for the period 2025 - 2030.

The Vice President believes that on April 30, 1975, Xuan Loc district and Dong Nai province, together with the whole country, entered an era of independence, freedom, peace and unity. On April 30, 2025, the district will enter a new era, an era of national growth. 2025 is a year with many important events for the country, the year of Party Congresses at all levels. Therefore, Dong Nai is determined to successfully implement all resolutions and plans set forth.

Chairwoman of Xuan Loc District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Cat Tien said that over the past years, the Party Committee, government and people of the district have promoted the tradition of solidarity, strived to overcome many difficulties and challenges, successfully implemented the goals and tasks set out in the resolution, and achieved many important achievements.

Xuan Loc District is managing 2,345 files of people with revolutionary contributions, including 3 living Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, 415 wounded soldiers, 149 sick soldiers, and 837 martyrs. The number of people with revolutionary contributions and their relatives making monthly payments is 920 people.

Policies and regimes for people with revolutionary contributions are fully and promptly implemented by the district; monthly allowances are paid to 10,040 people each year, with an implementation cost of more than 201 billion VND; and 2,105 people with revolutionary contributions are cared for at home, with a cost of more than 2.7 billion VND.

The whole district has 65 agencies, administrative units, administrative and career units of the Party, State and mass organizations supporting 70 families of people with revolutionary contributions in difficult circumstances, with support levels ranging from 500,000 VND to 1 million VND/family/month, the funding source is contributed by cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, who directly visit them every month...

Previously, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, along with leaders of Military Region 7, Dong Nai province and Xuan Loc district, respectfully offered incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and are now resting in their heroic homeland of Xuan Loc.

Speaking to officers and soldiers of Division 302 - Military Region 7, the Vice President acknowledged, commended and congratulated the outstanding achievements that Division 302 has achieved in recent times.

The Vice President emphasized that our Party, State, Army and people are extremely proud and will forever remember the great contributions of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, compatriots, comrades and soldiers nationwide, including generations of leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers of Division 302, who fought bravely, sacrificed and contributed to the cause of national liberation and reunification, as well as in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.

After 48 years of building, fighting and growing up; with the close attention and leadership from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 7, especially the love, care and support of the people, Division 302 has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, successfully completing its missions.

Affirming that 2025 is the final year of the term, of special importance, the Vice President requested the Party Committee and Command of Division 302 and Military Region 7 to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, especially the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee, 13th tenure on the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation, the guidelines and resolutions of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on military and national defense; thoroughly grasp and well implement the motto of protecting the Fatherland early and from afar, defending the country when it is not yet in danger; improve the capacity to research, forecast, and flexibly and effectively handle situations, avoiding being passive and surprised.

Take care to build a truly clean, strong, exemplary and representative Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; Strictly implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, in conjunction with doing well the ideological, organizational and policy work for cadres; Build a contingent of cadres at all levels, especially leaders and commanders, on par with the requirements of the task.

Carefully prepare all aspects, especially documents and personnel, successfully organize party congresses at all levels and the 12th Division Party Congress, contributing to the overall success of the 11th Military Region 7 Party Congress and the 12th Army Party Congress.

The Vice President requested Military Region 7, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province and localities to continue to pay attention to leadership, direction, and create all-round favorable conditions for the Division to successfully complete its assigned tasks.

On this occasion, the Vice President visited and presented gifts to combat-ready units of Regiment 88, Division 302; visited the Traditional House, presented gifts to historical witnesses of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign and planted a memorial tree at Division 302.
