Chairman and General Director of the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) Roger Leiner expressed his impression and appreciation of the investment advantages of Bac Ninh province with its geographical location, synchronous and convenient infrastructure connections. He said that Swiss enterprises are particularly interested and want to survey and seek investment opportunities in Bac Ninh, prioritizing vocational training, green steel production, plastic recycling... to help reduce emissions into the environment. He affirmed that Switzerland is actively promoting green steel projects to minimize environmental impacts and move towards sustainable steel production, through the use of advanced technology, increased recycling, use of clean energy and cooperation throughout the value chain with specific products such as "Green Steel Climate+" (produced entirely with renewable energy) and "Green Steel Stainless+" (at least 95% recycled materials).

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Huong Giang expressed her pleasure to welcome and work with the delegation right after the provincial leaders' visit to Switzerland; quickly informed about the province's outstanding achievements in socio-economic development in recent times with many indicators in the top of the country, advantages and potentials for attracting investment; introduced the areas that Bac Ninh province focuses on and wishes to attract investment; hoped that SACC would play a key role in helping the province approach and attract Swiss enterprises to invest in key areas such as high technology, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food processing and renewable energy, services, and finance. At the same time, strengthen cooperation in training high-quality human resources, support the development of small and medium enterprises, as well as promote trade promotion activities, and strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation relationship between the two sides.

Regarding the proposal of Chairman and General Director of the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) Roger Leiner, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Huong Giang requested Swiss enterprises to provide additional documents, assign departments, branches, and the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to study, consider, and report to the province for agreement on investment policies.

At the working session, leaders of Bac Ninh province and SACC emphasized the special importance of supporting and promoting the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to contribute to economic growth and job creation.

With its extensive network, SACC is playing an important role as a bridge to help businesses from both sides access new markets, share technology and strengthen sustainable connections.
