Localities in the province have applied drone technology in spraying pesticides for crops, reducing labor and protecting human health. Installing temperature and humidity sensor systems to control the opening and closing of ventilation doors, controlling fertilization and watering regimes suitable for plants in greenhouses. The main goal of green transformation in the agricultural sector is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, use natural resources efficiently and enhance the resilience of the agricultural system to climate change. The goal by 2030 is for the whole province to expand the area of ​​crop production to reduce emissions, create carbon credits on 30,000 hectares of rice and 8,000 hectares of sugarcane. To achieve that goal, the department is actively advising the Department of Agriculture and Environment to promote scientific research, application and transfer of technical advances and advanced technologies into production, increase the value of agricultural products, increase the rate of agricultural by-products that are reused, recycled, protect the environment, promote the process of green, low-emission agricultural transformation. Along with that, build support mechanisms and policies to attract people, cooperatives and businesses to invest in digital transformation and green agriculture.
