There are currently about 38,000 registered enterprises operating in various fields in the province. In recent years, although the investment and business context has faced many difficulties and challenges; however, under the timely and close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the efforts of all levels and sectors; the consensus and high determination of enterprises, the business community of Thanh Hoa province is growing stronger and stronger, making important contributions to the province's growth targets.

Accordingly, the business community of Thanh Hoa province is currently creating jobs for about 430,000 workers; contributing more than VND10,063 billion to the State budget in the first 9 months of this year, an increase of 10% over the same period. The business community also actively participates in gratitude movements; encourages learning and talent; humanitarian and charitable activities; and provides relief to people affected by natural disasters and floods, which are recognized and highly appreciated by the people.

At the workshop, delegates discussed the following contents: New points in Resolution No. 41/NQ-TW, dated October 10, 2023 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new period; some important results and experiences in promulgating and implementing mechanisms, policies and programs to support capacity building and operational efficiency for enterprises in the province; practices and experiences in raising awareness and practicing social responsibility of entrepreneurs; promoting the role of female entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs; advantages and difficulties in supporting enterprises to participate in industry clusters and value chains in the agricultural sector; results and experiences in implementing policies to support enterprises and entrepreneurs in applying information technology and digital transformation in production and business...

Along with that, agencies and units continue to promote administrative reform, focusing on reforming administrative procedures, improving the investment and business environment; regularly dialogue, care, share, accompany, promptly remove difficulties, obstacles and make legitimate proposals and recommendations, creating friendliness and trust between enterprises and businessmen with authorities at all levels in the province; absolutely do not cause trouble or harassment affecting investment, construction, production and business activities of enterprises.

He also pointed out the need to synchronously deploy solutions to build a startup and innovation ecosystem; strengthen the connection between labor supply and demand, train and foster human resources, especially high-quality human resources; promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation, build digital government, digital economy, digital society, green economy, circular economy; new production and business models and fields to expand development space for enterprises and entrepreneurs.

In addition, relevant sectors need to continue to effectively implement support and incentive policies, creating favorable conditions for businesses and entrepreneurs of all economic sectors to have equal access to development resources; not criminalizing economic and civil relations, ensuring a safe legal environment for the business community to develop.
