Pep has grown a standard beard and hair when he returns in the new season

Pep Guardiola has enjoyed a rare summer break to recharge after a gruelling season. He was spotted mingling with the crowds at Heaton Park, belting out Oasis' Don't Look Back in Anger and even experimenting with a daring new look, sporting a moustache.

However, when the season officially returned, the “stormy” mustache disappeared. Guardiola revealed a very ordinary reason: it was his daughter, Maria, who frankly said it “looked terrible” and advised her father to return to his familiar appearance.

This brief change in appearance once caused a stir among fans, even comparing him to the character Ted Lasso. Appearing at the Monarka clinic in Barcelona, the image of Pep with a strange mustache immediately became a hot topic on social networks.

Aside from the beard, Guardiola also did not hesitate to share about the unforgettable experience of watching Oasis live on the Oasis Live '25 reunion tour. In the enthusiastic atmosphere, the Spanish strategist put on a classic Man City shirt, sang the entire song with thousands of spectators, before going backstage to take souvenir photos with the children of the band members.

It was a rare moment for Guardiola to relieve stress and enjoy fun off the pitch.

Perhaps it was the close and fun experiences during the holiday that helped Pep relieve the heavy pressure from last season. Returning to the Premier League, Manchester City immediately showed their familiar fear when they crushed Wolves 4-0 in the opening round, temporarily taking the top spot.

An energetic Guardiola, who maintains tactical sharpness while also knowing how to enjoy life, is perhaps the formula for Man City to continue to conquer new heights.
