Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee, ceased to participate in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc was born in 1968 in Long An province. During his working career, Mr. Duoc has held many prominent positions, such as: Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Long An province; Secretary of Thanh Hoa District Party Committee, Long An province; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Permanent Deputy Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee. In 2020, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc was elected as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long An province. He was elected as a member of the Party Central Committee at the 13th Party Congress in January 2021.

Previously, on February 18, at the 9th extraordinary session, the 15th National Assembly elected Mr. Phan Van Mai - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee.
