Many new ideas from students at the Traffic Safety Competition

At noon on December 7, the final round of the Road Traffic Safety Competition organized by the Traffic Safety Committee, Department of Transport, Department of Education and Training, and Grab Vietnam Company Limited ended with victory belonging to Ngo Quyen High School.

The team of students from Ngo Quyen High School won first prize with an excellent performance, demonstrating a deep understanding of traffic laws and impressive presentation skills.

Second prize went to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted and Ngu Hanh Son High School. Third prize went to Phan Thanh Tai High School andFPT High School. Encouragement prize went to Thai Phien High School and Nguyen Van Thoai High School.

In addition, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted also won the speaking prize, and FPT High School won the cheerleading prize.

Previously, the qualifying round took place on November 30, with 28 teams representing high schools participating, each team had 5 representative students (4 students officially competing and 1 reserve student), the results showed that the 7 teams above made it to the finals,

In the final round, the teams went through the warm-up round, acceleration round and especially the speech round with topics related to traffic, traffic awareness in the community of the young generation, the theme of traffic safety year 2024: "Respecting the law to build a culture of safe traffic"...

The situations and solutions analyzed and presented by the teams in this round showed profound understanding and promised to be a highlight in propaganda and education work, raising awareness of traffic safety among young people and the community.

Mr. Bui Hong Trung, Director of the Department of Transport, Deputy Head of the Traffic Safety Committee of Da Nang City, said that from the qualifying round to the final round, the teams actively practiced and brought excellent and meaningful performances. The contest far exceeded initial expectations, not only disseminating knowledge and skills in handling traffic safety situations, cultural traffic behavior, understanding the public bus system... but also innovating rich forms of propaganda, especially the creative and persuasive speaking contest of the students.

"The organizers believe and expect that after the contest, each student will continue to be a propagandist on traffic safety, contributing to building traffic culture and urban civilization," said Mr. Bui Hong Trung.
