On the morning of April 7 in Thanh Hoa City, the Organizing Committee of the 37th National Cycling Race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup in 2025 with the theme "The Country and Rivers Connected in One Strip" HTV - Ton Dong A held the award ceremony for stage 4 (Hanoi - Thanh Hoa City). Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and presented the award.

Athlete Nguyen Anh Huy (Pelio Kenda Dong Nai team) excellently finished first in stage 4, Hanoi - Thanh Hoa City.

The race is an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1.

This year’s race has 105 athletes from 15 cycling clubs across the country and foreign athletes participating. With 25 stages with a total length of 3,059 km, the race starts in Tuyen Quang and ends at Thong Nhat Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) at noon on April 30.

Thanh Hoa province is the finish point of stage 4: Hanoi - Ha Nam - Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa city with a distance of 115 km and the starting point of stage 5: Thanh Hoa city - Vinh city (Nghe An) 139 km.

On the morning of April 7, the athletes entered the 4th stage: Hanoi - Ha Nam - Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa City, a distance of 115 km. Starting at Lenin Park, Hanoi, the race went through the provinces of Ha Nam, Ninh Binh to Thanh Hoa. In Thanh Hoa, the race went through Bim Son town, the districts of Ha Trung, Hau Loc, Hoang Hoa; followed the Thanh Hoa City bypass, crossed Nguyet Vien Bridge, passed the Crane-shaped roundabout, followed Le Loi Avenue to the finish line in front of Hoi An Park gate (Thanh Hoa City).

With reasonable tactics, effective distribution of strength and impressive acceleration, athlete Nguyen Anh Huy (Pelio Kenda Dong Nai team) excellently finished first, second was athlete Ly Van Chi Cuong (Binh Minh Binh Duong Plastic team), third was athlete Ngo Minh Quan (Thanh Hoa team).

This victory also helped Nguyen Anh Huy temporarily win both the white and orange jerseys of the race.

At the back, the race also significantly narrowed the gap, sticking close to the remaining riders of the leading group before reaching the finish line. This result helped Loic Desriac (Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap) continue to successfully defend the overall yellow jersey after 4 stages.

The race organizers presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged students in Thanh Hoa City.

At the ceremony, the race organizing committee awarded individual and team prizes; presented commemorative medals to the local organizing committee of Thanh Hoa province; and awarded 10 scholarships (each worth 2 million VND) to disadvantaged students who have excelled in their studies in Thanh Hoa city.

Tomorrow morning (April 8), athletes will start stage 5: Thanh Hoa City - Vinh City (Nghe An) with a distance of 139 km.
