On the morning of April 30, at famous tourist attractions, the number of tourists gradually increased but there was no jostling or pushing.
At the top of Fansipan, the "roof of Indochina" (3,143 m high), at exactly 10:00 a.m. on April 30, the flag-raising ceremony at the tallest flagpole in Vietnam took place.
Before that solemn moment, visitors enjoyed a special art performance called "Flags of the Border Region" - recreating proud memories of the journey to defend the country, overcome the consequences of war and build the Fansipan cable car.
At the cable car waiting room to Cat Ba (Hai Phong) , thousands of locals and tourists lined up to go to Cat Ba Island. The number of passengers is expected to be larger than last year's holiday.
