These are special performances in the art program For Forever, performed by Ho Guom Theater, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The program takes place on two nights, July 24 and 25, at Ho Guom Theater.

Quang Binh, my hometown, with the sound of the moon lute and the symphony orchestra

Conductor Le Phi Phi - son of musician Hoang Van, who conducted the music night - said this was a program to show gratitude to the audience who have loved his music for more than half a century.

The program introduces a complete musical portrait of musician Hoang Van, from instrumental music, choral music, to art songs, and even works that have never been performed or have lost recordings or scores from more than half a century ago.

In addition to the musical composition of the poem " Night Scenery " by President Ho Chi Minh , "My Hometown Quang Binh" is renewed with the combination of the moon lute of People's Artist Co Huy Hung and the symphony orchestra, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy Symphony No. II , Chapter 1 Memorial .

And revolutionary songs that have stood the test of time include I am a coal miner, That soldier, and Transport song .

With a suite of songs for children: I love my school, The yellow-ringed bird, The season of blooming royal poinciana ; melodies spanning across the country's homelands such as: Tay Nguyen love song, Sailor's heart song, Singing about today's rice plants, Song of the People's Teacher...

The program ended with the mashup For Today, For Tomorrow, For Forever .

Conductor Le Phi Phi said that to reflect Hoang Van's musical portrait, the program will have the participation of a symphony orchestra, folk music group, choir, instrumental soloists, adult choir and children's choir - quite rare.

Most of the works performed will be reconstructions of arrangements made by musician Hoang Van himself, who left many marks in the art of musical arrangement at that time.

Dr. Le Y Linh - daughter of musician Hoang Van, who wrote the script for the program - said this is a rare opportunity for the audience to enjoy the scholarly aspect of Hoang Van's compositions.

The program For Forever has the participation of generations of singers and artists: People's Artist Co Huy Hung (moon lute), People's Artist Xuan Binh (mono), People's Artist Vuong Ha (poetry recitation), Meritorious Artist Dang Duong; singers Trong Tan, Dao To Loan, Thanh Le, Bui Trang, Tran Trang, Truong Linh;

Artists Trinh Huong (piano), Thu Huong (flute), Anh Linh (bamboo flute), Quyen Thien Dac (saxophone), Nguyen Minh Tan (accordion), Binh Son (piano), Oplus group.

In particular, the program also features the participation of violinist Lydia Dobrevska from North Macedonia...
