Blood donation festival "Red drops of Tay Nguyen"

As part of the 13th "Red Journey" Program in 2025, on June 18, at Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the "Central Highlands Red Drops" Blood Donation Festival 2025 took place.

The festival attracted more than 600 cadres, lecturers, employees, union members, youth of Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and volunteers in the area to register to participate. Thereby, 550 units of blood were collected (exceeding the set target).

It is known that “Red Journey” is the largest voluntary blood donation program in the country directed by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation; chaired by the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, in coordination with units and Steering Committees for Voluntary Blood Donation of provinces and cities since 2013.

In 2025, the "Red Journey" program will be held in 48 provinces and cities across the country from May 30 to July 30.

In Dak Lak , the "Red Journey" program took place in the following units: Ea Kar district, Krong Pac district, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Tay Nguyen University, striving to receive about 2,000 units of blood.
