On the morning of August 21, helicopters and transport planes of the Air Defense - Air Force flew over Ba Dinh Square to prepare for the National Day parade on September 2.

According to the plan, at the parade on the morning of September 2, the Air Defense - Air Force will organize 9 groups of 30 aircraft to fly to welcome. The aircraft will take off and land at Hoa Lac, Gia Lam ( Hanoi ) and Kep (Bac Ninh) airports. According to records, 10 Mi-17 helicopters from Air Force Regiments 916, 917, 930 flew over Ba Dinh Square 3 times.
