Every Tuesday morning, members of the Nursery Volunteer Group arrange their work, go into the kitchen, and cook free meals together to give to patients and their relatives being treated at Bu Dang Regional Medical Center.

Cooking and giving free vegetarian meals to patients and their relatives is a meaningful activity that the group has maintained since 2023. Each time, the group cooks about 200 free vegetarian meals and gives them to patients at Bu Dang Regional Medical Center.

Head of the Ho Thi Bich Hong Nursery Volunteer Group said: “The idea of ​​cooking free meals to give to patients was sparked when I received free meals while being treated at Cho Ray Hospital ( Ho Chi Minh City) in 2022. After being discharged from the hospital, I called on my friends to turn the idea into action and the group's charity kitchen was born, operating until now.”

The budget to maintain the group's kitchen is mainly contributed by the group members. Later, more benefactors learned about the significance of the kitchen and contributed funds to help the kitchen maintain more regularly and adequately.
