Mr. Le Van Lai - Deputy Secretary of Thanh My Town Party Committee said that in 2024, focusing on implementing tasks and work of developing party members, the locality admitted 14 new party members, exceeding the assigned target by more than 16%.

To achieve this task, along with raising the awareness of Party committees, Party cells and Party members about the importance and requirements of developing new Party members in Party building work, localities focus on doing a good job of leading and directing a comprehensive review of the mass resources; especially the number of young people discharged after completing their military service in the locality.

“Party organizations also regularly monitor the process of training, striving, working, producing, participating in local movements, and the people's compliance with the law... From there, there is a basis for assigning party members to help, mentor, and propagate to create correct awareness among the masses about the purpose, ideological foundation, position, and role of the Communist Party of Vietnam,” Mr. Lai shared.

Mr. La Lim Hau - Standing Deputy Secretary of Nam Giang District Party Committee said that with synchronous solutions, since the beginning of the term, the locality has always exceeded the target of admitting party members.

In 2024, the Nam Giang District Party Committee admitted 114 new party members, exceeding the target assigned by the Provincial Party Committee by 3.7%. Notably, during the emulation campaign to achieve achievements to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the District Party Committee (June 28, 1949 - June 28, 2024), Nam Giang admitted 81 party members, including 4 high school students.

Through the year-end quality assessment, the whole district has 54/54 grassroots party organizations classified as having completed their tasks well, of which 10 grassroots party organizations were classified as having completed their tasks excellently (accounting for 18.51%).

“Right from the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issued a plan to develop party members to the grassroots party committees and branches with specific goals and tasks. At the same time, it directed the Organizing Committee to review and assign targets, combining the province's targets to assign specific numbers of party members to each party committee and branch. After reviewing the list of the masses, it gradually assigned tasks to the party cells and villages to consider the sense of responsibility of the elite masses so that it could take the next steps in theoretical training,” said Mr. Hau.
