
According to data from the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh, in the first 4 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods in the province reached more than 25,295 billion VND, an increase of 10.65% over the same period last year.
Among the 12 retail commodity groups listed, food and foodstuffs had the highest revenue with more than 12,972 billion VND, an increase of 18% over the same period last year.
In addition, some other product groups also recorded revenue growth compared to the same period, such as: household appliances, tools, and equipment reached more than VND 3,463 billion, up 16.6%; garments reached more than VND 1,566 billion, up 4.8%; gemstones, precious metals of all kinds reached more than VND 617 billion, up 12%; other fuels (excluding gasoline) reached nearly VND 537 billion, up 19.7%; means of transport (excluding cars) reached VND 422 billion, up 16.7%; cultural and educational items reached VND 151 billion, up 19%; other goods reached more than VND 1,325 billion, up 4%; repair of motor vehicles, motorbikes, and motorbikes reached VND 616 billion, up 22%...

Three groups of goods with revenue decreasing compared to the same period include: gasoline of all kinds reaching more than 2,081 billion VND, down 14%; wood and construction materials reaching 925 billion VND, down 3.1%; cars reaching nearly 618 billion VND, down 18.6%.
According to industry experts, the total retail sales of goods in the first four months of the year increased compared to the same period last year, showing that domestic consumption has gradually increased again. During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, shopping and service activities were bustling, and retail revenue continued to increase. It is forecasted that in the coming months, with hot weather and bustling beach tourism, the consumption of many seasonal products will increase sharply.
