According to the announcement of National Assembly Secretary General Bui Van Cuong sent to National Assembly deputies on the afternoon of March 18, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to change the program of the 5th Conference of full-time National Assembly deputies, 15th National Assembly.

Accordingly, the conference will take place from March 26 to March 28. Previously, according to Plan No. 759/KH-UBTVQH15, the conference would take place from March 21 to 23.

The announcement stated that National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will deliver the opening speech at the conference on the morning of March 26. National Assembly Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man will deliver the closing speech at the conference on the afternoon of March 28. The National Assembly Vice Chairmen will take turns chairing the discussion session.

Regarding content, the National Assembly Standing Committee also withdrew the Law on Amendments and Supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Security Guards from the program.

According to the new program announced by the Secretary General of the National Assembly, specialized delegates will give opinions on 8 draft laws, including: Law on Capital City (amended); Law on Organization of People's Courts (amended); Law on Archives (amended); Law on Roads; Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; Law on National Defense Industry and Industrial Mobilization; Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Property Auction; Law on Social Insurance (amended).

According to current regulations, before each regular session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will organize a conference of specialized National Assembly deputies to give opinions on draft laws that will be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the next National Assembly session.

The upcoming conference of full-time National Assembly deputies is the fifth conference held during the 15th National Assembly term.
