At the launching ceremony of the National Highway 14B Renovation and Upgrade Project (Hoa Vang District) at the beginning of the year, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh emphasized that this is a key and dynamic project, of great significance to the socio-economic development in the western region of Da Nang City.

At the same time, commend the investor, contractors and local authorities for their efforts and achieving some initial results after 3 months of site clearance, construction and ensuring smooth traffic.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the investor, the Department of Transport, to regularly monitor the construction progress and synthesize all recommendations from the units to promptly report to the City People's Committee.

Hoa Vang District People's Committee urgently speeds up site clearance progress. In case of difficulties, it should be promptly proposed to the City People's Committee.

The City People's Committee Office also synthesized and proposed early to the city leaders to resolve the district's recommendations in the spirit of harmonizing interests, ensuring both construction and the rights of the people.

The district continues to propagate and mobilize people to support and agree to early handover of the site and support and create conditions for contractors to construct the project.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee also requested consulting and supervising units and contractors to mobilize all resources: vehicles, human resources, finance... to urgently complete the items and areas that have been handed over.

At the Quang Da bridge project and the bridge approach road (Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district), Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh praised the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development in Da Nang for their efforts in completing investment procedures.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that this is a project carried out on the basis of cooperation between the two localities of Da Nang and Quang Nam with a total investment of 274 billion VND, mainly from the budget of Da Nang city.

This project has many meanings, especially helping to promote the socio-economic development of Da Nang and Quang Nam in general, Hoa Vang district and Dien Ban town in particular, especially to show gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations, including the victory of Bo Bo.

“With that in mind, at the end of March 2025, when the two localities celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang city (March 29) and the liberation of Quang Nam (March 24), this project will be inaugurated. Therefore, this project must not be delayed due to subjective reasons,” the Chairman of the City People’s Committee requested.

Visiting Hoa Khanh General Trading and Service Company Limited to launch production at the beginning of the new year of Giap Thin 2024, Permanent Vice Chairman in charge of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son affirmed that the city's leaders always accompany, create favorable conditions, and provide maximum support for businesses to invest, develop, and expand production and business in Da Nang.

Regarding the recommendations and proposals of enterprises, the Standing Vice Chairman in charge of the City People's Council, Tran Phuoc Son, requested that business leaders submit a written report with specific proposals for the proposed contents, send it to the Standing Committee of the City People's Council and the City People's Committee for consideration, and assign the city's functional agencies to study and handle it.

Visiting and encouraging the construction of the Tho Quang fishing port upgrade and expansion project (phase 2), Permanent Vice Chairman in charge of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son requested the management and construction units to concentrate their efforts, ensure human and material resources as well as ensure progress and disbursement plan; strive to complete early to continue investing in phase 3.

Propose that the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development closely coordinate with the Project Management Board and the construction contractor to promptly complete phase 2 and continue working with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to mobilize resources and implement investment in phase 3.

The Standing Vice Chairman in charge of the City People's Council also noted that the construction of the Tho Quang fishing port upgrade and expansion project (phase 2) is being implemented in parallel with the Tho Quang boat dredging project.

Therefore, units need to coordinate smoothly and synchronously to ensure production and business activities of small traders, create favorable conditions for boats to enter/exit, and fishermen to feel secure going offshore to fish.

It is known that the project to upgrade and expand Tho Quang fishing port (phase 2) is built with the goal of meeting the criteria of a type 1 fishing port (a dynamic fishing port belonging to a large fishing center in Da Nang city) combined with regional storm shelter anchorage to ensure safe anchorage and synchronized fishing logistics services.

The total investment of phase 2 of the project is 250 billion VND, with the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works as the investor and project manager.

At the launching ceremony of the project to upgrade the Da Nang Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, Permanent Vice Chairman in charge of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son acknowledged and praised the efforts of the project management board, contractors and workers.

This is a key project of the city to reduce the current overload at Da Nang Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital; improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for people in the city and the Central Highlands region.

The city leaders suggested that, in addition to the contractor's progress commitment, the Danang Urban Development and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, with the responsibility as the investor and the supervising consultant, should focus on completing the infrastructure.

In addition, quickly deploy equipment procurement packages, creating synchronization from facilities to equipment so that the project can be put into operation on schedule and ensure efficiency.

It is known that the Da Nang Maternity and Children's Hospital Upgrade Investment Project has a total investment of 789 billion VND from the city budget. The investment scale of the project includes 2 parts: construction and equipment.

At the Hai Duong Kindergarten and Le Thi Hong Gam Secondary School projects, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong said that the implementation of the construction projects of these two schools affirms the city leaders' interest in education in the city in general and Thanh Khe district in particular.

“This is a key project of the city in 2024. The project is a complex of two projects including a Kindergarten and a Secondary School, so when put into operation, the student traffic will be very crowded, and traffic issues need to be taken into consideration and noted.

Investors should carefully research and ensure traffic safety for students and parents picking them up as well as traffic participants in the area," Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong emphasized.

With the determination to soon complete the project in time for the new school year 2024-2025, Thanh Khe District People's Committee and contractors committed to completing the project in August 2024, 75 days ahead of schedule but still ensuring safety, quality and aesthetic criteria.

At the Tan Ninh Resettlement Area Expansion Project Phase 2 (Hoa Vang District), Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong assessed that the Tan Ninh Resettlement Area Expansion Project Phase 2 is identified as one of the important projects in the city's development in the coming time.

The investment and formation of an expanded resettlement area not only ensures the construction of environmental landscapes and urban reconstruction for Hoa Vang but also solves the problem of land funds to implement other projects in the city.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong requested relevant units to pay attention with the highest spirit and responsibility, speed up the project progress, and complete the project to put it into operation in the near future.

Hoa Vang District People's Committee and Project Management Board focus on prioritizing and finding solutions to speed up the compensation and site clearance progress, and soon hand over the site for the implementation of this project in the near future.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the Wastewater Collection Pipeline along Tran Hung Dao Street extension (from Tien Son Bridge to Ngu Hanh Son Wastewater Treatment Plant), Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Nam said that the project is of great significance in improving environmental pollution, contributing to improving public health and developing the regional economy. At the same time, he requested the investor and contractor to coordinate so that the project can be completed as scheduled.

It is known that the wastewater collection pipeline project along Tran Hung Dao extended street (from Tien Son bridge to Ngu Hanh Son wastewater treatment plant) has a total investment of nearly 115 billion VND.

The project started on December 20, 2023 and is expected to be completed in 550 days. The project investment goal is to collect wastewater at a rate of 2.5Qtb on a total basin area of ​​about 205 hectares.

It is known that the Housing project for athletes at Hoa Xuan Sports Complex was approved in Decision No. 176/QD-UBND dated January 18, 2022 of the City People's Committee with a total investment of 139.3 billion VND.
