According to the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Lam Dong and Phu Yen provinces have oriented the cooperation program in the coming time. Accordingly, the two provinces agreed that the cooperation program in the new period needs to research and expand the content of cooperation in depth in the fields of agriculture, tourism, science - technology, new rural construction, and Party building.

In particular, in addition to the linkage and cooperation between departments and branches of the two provinces on the basis of signed programs, it is necessary to expand cooperation between districts between the two localities and with other subjects to spread and strengthen deeper and more effective cooperation in a number of areas agreed by the two sides; cooperate, share information, attract businesses to invest in the agricultural sector based on the strengths of each locality, focusing on projects to build agricultural and forestry processing factories, especially dairy processing factories; strengthen promotion and trade promotion for agricultural products and OCOP products of the two provinces through conferences to promote agricultural product consumption; coordinate the display of products of the two provinces at agricultural product display and sale points and OCOP products in the two localities; research and build inter-provincial production and consumption chains for some agricultural products such as milk, vegetables, fruits, etc.; Sharing and learning experiences between the state management levels of tourism of the two localities, implementing joint programs to foster and train human resources for tourism.

In particular, Phu Yen and Lam Dong will cooperate to develop tours, tourist routes, and connect tourist destinations between the two localities by organizing for businesses of the two localities to survey new tours and tourist destinations to develop tourism products and connect to the common tourism program, forming the tour "Central Heritage Road" associated with the "Central Highlands Green Road".

At the same time, the two provinces agreed to organize a conference to summarize the cooperation program between Lam Dong province and Phu Yen province for the period 2016 - 2026 and sign a cooperation program in the coming time.
