Border Guard coordinated with authorities to bring the victim ashore.

Under the direct command of Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trong Tai, Captain of the 2nd Coast Guard Squadron, the BP 050101 squadron and 12 officers and soldiers braved the dark night, heavy rain, and big waves to Me Island to pick up soldiers to the mainland. However, when arriving at the sea area around Me Island in the conditions of big waves and strong winds, the ship still could not reach the pier after a long time. In urgent conditions, the commander on board decided to use the plan to stop the ship at a suitable distance from the island, use a crane to lower the speedboat with a working group to approach the island.
