Checking extra teaching and learning at a series of educational institutions

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, from March 17 to 31, the department's inspection teams will conduct direct inspections at 21 education and training departments of districts, Thu Duc City and 16 high schools in the area.

The inspection content revolves around the direction and management of the Departments of Education and Training in implementing Circular 29/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training and Official Dispatch 10/2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the direction of secondary and high school enrollment and management of extra teaching and learning according to authority and responsibility.

Specifically, check the implementation of regulations on extra teaching and learning before Circular 29 was issued, the number of licensed extra teaching establishments in the area; current situation, difficulties, management solutions... Since Circular 29 was issued, how many organizations and individuals have newly registered to do business in the area; coordination with relevant agencies to advise the People's Committee to issue regulations on extra teaching and learning in the locality...

Other inspection contents include: Guidance and organization of implementation of regulations on extra teaching and learning for schools, organizations and related individuals; issuance of guiding documents, implementation of Circular 29; information, propaganda and dissemination work to ensure schools and parents understand the regulations of the circular; direction of schools to review and adjust the development of school education plans, ensuring the assignment of teaching hours of teachers in accordance with the allocated budget; financial management, management of extra teaching and learning outside of school; review and grasp information on the implementation of regulations on extra teaching and learning at schools...

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, in conducting this inspection, each Department of Education and Training will select 1 primary school, 1 secondary school; Thu Duc City will select 2 primary schools, 2 secondary schools. The high schools include: Ten Lo Man, Nguyen Thi Dieu, Ngo Quyen, Luong Van Can, Nguyen Du, Hung Vuong, Binh Chanh, Mac Dinh Chi, Tran Phu, Phu Nhuan, Tran Van Giau, Tran Hung Dao, Ho Thi Bi, Vo Truong Toan, Thu Duc and Duong Van Thi.
