After receiving the official holiday schedule, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Giang, My Hao ward, Hung Yen province, researched and planned a September 2 trip with her family to Huu Lien commune. She said: “I have been following Huu Lien on social media for a long time and was really impressed when I learned that this place had just received the ASEAN Tourism Award. The beauty of Huu Lien and many unique activities such as rowing on Dong Lam lake, horseback riding, exploring the custard apple garden or exploring Khe Dau waterfall, Lan Ty lake... made me choose this place as a stopover for my family during the upcoming holiday.”

The interest of tourists like Ms. Giang has shown the strong attraction of Huu Lien tourism in particular and Lang Son province in general in recent times. In response to the trust of tourists, localities have implemented many important solutions. Mr. Hoang Thanh Hieu, Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Huu Lien commune said: The September 2 holiday is long, it is forecasted that there will be a lot of tourists, so we have asked 36 homestays in the area to plan to welcome guests carefully, ensure safety conditions, security and order, and at the same time add some services to serve tourists. Currently, we are performing folk songs for free on weekends. At the same time, we are coordinating to build more tours to the UNESCO Global Geopark area such as the geological trail "Journey to the Heart of Lan Ty Lake" to diversify the experience for tourists.

Not only in Huu Lien commune, tourism activities have also developed strongly with a series of products deployed in communes and wards. Typically, the activity of experiencing chestnut season and exchanging Then, Sli, and Luon singing in Luong Van Tri ward; Ky Lua ward People's Committee promotes the introduction of folk games, cultural and artistic activities to serve tourists at Ky Lua walking street; Van Linh commune develops the tourism product of dried glue making village; expands the eco-tourism site of custard apple garden in Chi Lang commune associated with the cultural and historical tourism product of Chi Lang Victory Exhibition House, Chi Lang temple area, Bai Hao dam lake...

In response to the strong development of tourism in localities, as well as to ensure the quality of services during the upcoming holidays, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DOCST) has issued specific instructions and solutions. Mr. Luu Ba Mac, Deputy Director of the DOCST, said: In order to stimulate tourism and best meet the needs of tourists during the September 2 holiday this year, we have issued an official dispatch and deployed it to the cultural and social departments of wards and communes, businesses and tourism service establishments on ensuring services for tourists during the holidays. Encourage the organization of diverse cultural and tourism activities... At the same time, we also actively coordinate with relevant agencies and units to strengthen propaganda and inspection work at tourist areas and destinations, ensuring the environment, prices and quality of services, as well as the implementation of the Code of Conduct for civilized tourism...

Many travel agencies also offer attractive tours and routes. Mr. Ly Xuan Thach, Director of Thanh Vu Trading and Tourism Company Limited (Tam Phat Travel) said: Currently, we have proactively cooperated with a number of travel companies in and outside the province, as well as a number of travel companies from neighboring countries (China) to introduce to tourists a number of new routes and tourist destinations. In particular, during the September 2nd holiday, we offer a 5-10% discount on tours for groups in and outside the province to visit and experience, and we also offer promotional photography services...

Along with travel agencies, accommodation establishments also offer attractive incentives and discounts, such as: Tru by Hilton Lang Son City Centre Hotel offers discounts on rooms and beverage services; Muong Thanh Lang Son Hotel offers discounts of 5-10% for group guests... In addition, accommodation establishments also renovate facilities, beautify the landscape, and create many attractive incentive programs for tourists.
