The program aims to respond to the policy of planting 1 billion trees "For a green Vietnam" launched by the Government; towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the 70th anniversary of the sacrifice of People's Armed Forces Hero Phan Dinh Giot (March 13, 1954 - March 13, 2024); the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).

At the program, the organizers presented 70 gifts to relatives of hero Phan Dinh Giot and policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in Cam Xuyen district.

The Organizing Committee also presented 30 bicycles and gifts to disadvantaged students with good academic performance; presented symbolic signs of 120,000 wave-blocking casuarina trees, 300 Bauhinia trees, and 1,000 plastic lanes to build a "model of a people's market to reduce plastic waste" to Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, Cam Xuyen district, and Cam Quan commune.

The Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam to present a school to the child with a support of 700 million VND.

The Provincial Youth Union presented a solar power line worth 125 million VND, 160 environmental protection trash bins worth 160 million VND to district, city and affiliated youth unions; presented preferential capital to support youth start-ups and businesses worth 1 billion VND.

Total resources donated at the program are more than 4 billion VND.

In particular, the organizing committee started construction of a memorial project for People's Armed Forces Hero Phan Dinh Giot.

The project was called for and mobilized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, through the connection of the Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union.

The project has profound propaganda and education significance for the young generation and people about the revolutionary tradition of the homeland and country; practically aiming to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and commemorate the 70th anniversary of the sacrifice of People's Armed Forces Hero Phan Dinh Giot.
