On October 21, at the headquarters of Da Lat City Police, Lam Dong Provincial Police organized a surprise reward ceremony for 3 groups and 9 individuals in the successful rescue of a 6-year-old boy who was illegally held by his mother's lover.

At the ceremony, Colonel Dinh Xuan Huy - Deputy Director, Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Province Police awarded certificates of merit to the General Investigation Team, Criminal Police Team and Ward 10 Police, Da Lat City.

In addition, 9 individuals from the Da Lat City Police Department's professional teams who made outstanding achievements in successfully searching for and rescuing the 6-year-old child were also commended by the Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police.

Also on this occasion, the leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police gave a bonus of 10 million VND to the Da Lat City Police.

Previously, on the evening of October 19, Da Lat City Police received a report from Ms. NTV (born in 1982, temporarily residing on Suong Nguyet Anh Street, Da Lat City) that her son, NTPA (born in 2017), was picked up by Doan Van Den (born in 1993), from Soc Trang Province, on a motorbike, then taken to an unknown location.

After grasping the situation, Colonel Tran Vinh Phu - Head of Da Lat City Police directed the professional teams to coordinate with the Criminal Police Department and Ward 10 Police to urgently search for Doan Van Den.

After more than 2 hours of searching, the police discovered a subject driving a motorbike, carrying a young boy on Mimosa Pass, Da Lat City, so they chased, controlled, and arrested him.
