The exhibition space of Ninh Binh traditional craft villages is designed with 5 art space clusters corresponding to 5 prominent traditional craft villages such as Van Lam embroidery, Kim Son sedge weaving, Bo Bat pottery, Silk... Visitors can directly experience the process of embroidery, sedge weaving, pottery making, silk reeling and silk weaving with artisans and enjoy typical tea and fruit juice products.

On the same day, the fashion art program "Heritage for Life" will take place with the participation of 10 leading designers and famous artists. The program combines music, dance, fashion shows and traditional craft materials, creating an artistic space with strong identity and creativity.

At the opening ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc and delegates presented flowers to congratulate the artisans, artists and creative designers. The delegates visited the products of the craft village and together with the artisans, experienced the actual process of producing handicraft products in the space of the traditional craft village.

This is an activity to honor the traditional cultural values ​​of unique craft villages of Ninh Binh, combining tourism promotion and cultural exchange.

In his opening speech, Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Department of Tourism, said: Currently, Ninh Binh has risen to become the leading tourist destination in the country, welcoming millions of domestic and international visitors every year, and is rated by many international travel sites such as booking, tripadvisor, and travelers as an attractive destination, the friendliest destination in the world, and an influential destination in 2023 and 2024. Implementing the province's policies and directions on developing tourism and cultural industry into a key economic cluster, building a millennium heritage urban area, a creative city, based on traditional cultural values, the Department of Tourism has coordinated with Xuan Truong Enterprise and Designer Minh Hanh to pilot the Ninh Binh Traditional Craft Village Space model at Tam Coc Bich Dong Tourist Area to honor, preserve and exploit the heritage values, the quintessence of traditional crafts to create unique cultural tourism products, while contributing practically to promoting the restoration and development of crafts. Traditional heritage is a combination of tradition and modernity, of artistry and practicality, bringing traditional heritage not only to memory but also to life, transforming and accompanying contemporary life, meeting the needs and tastes of people and domestic and international tourists.

The Director of the Department of Tourism emphasized: The Traditional Craft Village Space model will be operated as a tourism product to experience traditional craft villages not only in Ninh Binh but also in the whole country, combining experience, sightseeing with shopping. It operates on the principle of non-profit. Members, households, and artisans of the craft village participate in the spirit of volunteerism, self-awareness, self-management, dedication to the community, for the preservation and development of the traditional craft of their ancestors and will benefit from the results of their work and dedication through the sale and promotion of craft village products.

The construction of Ninh Binh Traditional Craft Village Space is the result of the efforts, dedication, companionship and responsible participation of many groups and individuals over the past two months. Therefore, in order for Ninh Binh Craft Village Space to truly live and operate effectively, become a successful model that can be replicated in the coming time, the Director of the Department of Tourism proposed: The Management Board of Tam Coc Bich Dong Tourist Area coordinates with Designer Minh Hanh and artisans to establish a Management Board, Self-management Team, develop and promulgate regulations, sign a commitment to ensure compliance with the provisions of law. On the part of the Provincial Tourism Association, tourism and travel businesses develop tourism programs to bring visitors to the craft village.

Along with that, artisans, households, and units participating in activities at the Ninh Binh Traditional Craft Village Space promote the highest sense of responsibility for the community, volunteerism, self-awareness, and good compliance with the regulations of the craft village to successfully build and develop the Traditional Craft Village Space.
