Opening of the Vietnamese Youth Camp: Mastering Foreign Languages - Courage to Integrate

The camp program takes place from July 31 to August 3 to create a spacious playground for union members and young people nationwide to exchange, learn, practice, improve foreign language skills and integrate internationally.

The event attracted nearly 100 delegates, including cadres and youth union members from all regions of the country, representing the young generation with a progressive spirit, a desire for integration and outstanding foreign language skills.

The highlight of the 2025 Camp is the promotion of technology application in organizing activities, combined with the Final Round of the 7th National English Olympic Competition for Young Officials in 2025.

Throughout the 4 days, delegates participated in a series of bonding activities, gained practical experience and improved foreign language skills.

The camp is also an activity to implement the Youth Union and Youth Movement Program in 2025; specifying the tasks and solutions in Decision 1477/QD-TTg dated November 25, 2022 of the Prime Minister on approving the Program "Supporting the improvement of foreign language capacity and international integration for Vietnamese youth in the period 2022-2030"...

Speaking at the opening of the camp, Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam affirmed: In the digital age and globalization, foreign languages ​​are the key to the door of integration. It is not only a skill but also a fundamental capacity to help young people expand their knowledge, strengthen cooperation, and promote national identity in the international arena.

Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam called on Vietnamese youth to actively learn foreign languages ​​to master technology, master themselves and master the future.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the panel discussion on “International integration preparation for Vietnamese youth in the digital age” took place with a lively presentation by Master Hoang Minh Thong - Head of the Training Program Development and Quality Assurance Team, Gifted High School, Ho Chi Minh City National University. The speaker shared practical perspectives, personal experiences and essential skills for young people to improve their foreign language skills in the context of digital transformation./.
