Delegates cut the ribbon to open the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and "Tet Union Market" in 2025.

At the program, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - said that with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", "no one is left behind", the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" this year presented 2,700 gifts from the Party, State and City leaders to union members and workers; presented 8,800 gifts to union members and workers from the city's trade union financial source; 5,000 gifts of necessities; 2,570 vouchers to buy online Tet markets; visited and wished a happy new year to some units on duty during Tet with the task of maintaining order, environmental sanitation, hospitals, and New Year's Eve, with the total amount of the program being nearly 6 billion VND.

Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee and Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, Chairwoman of Can Tho City Labor Federation presented gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances at the program.

Particularly, the "Union Tet Market" activity in 2025 with a scale of 65 booths selling quality products and goods at preferential prices from 10-70% or more and 4 "0 VND" booths serving union members and workers. Along with that, there are many practical activities for workers and workers in difficult circumstances such as: Singing contest for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers; graceful performances of Ao Dai, Ao Ba Ba; activities of wrapping and cooking Banh Tet to give to workers in boarding houses; propaganda on traffic safety and safe driving; consulting on social insurance regimes; consulting on job introduction; along with many cultural activities, arts, folk games to create a healthy playground for union members and workers to participate in the program.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Tran Viet Truong - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City - sent his regards and encouraged workers and laborers of the city to enthusiastically compete in labor and production, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the city. The Chairman of the People's Committee affirmed that the achievements of the city in the past time have had the positive contributions of trade unions at all levels and the labor force, union members in the city.
