Today begins to announce 2025 university benchmark scores

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after the virtual filtering process, universities nationwide must complete the entry of admission scores and the first round of admission results into the system. The schools will begin announcing the first round of admission scores from 5:00 p.m. on August 20, with the deadline for announcement being before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

Previously, from August 17 to 20, the Ministry of Education and Training officially implemented a nationwide virtual filtering process for university admissions with six consecutive virtual filtering rounds. This is an important step to ensure that each candidate is only admitted to one wish, while helping universities determine the exact benchmark score, avoiding over- or under-recruitment.

The national virtual filtering system is operated by the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring synchronization and accuracy. In addition, there are two virtual filtering groups in the South with nearly 90 schools (chaired by Ho Chi Minh City National University) and a virtual filtering group in the North with 65 schools (chaired by Hanoi University of Science and Technology).

In Ho Chi Minh City, after virtual filtering rounds, many schools recorded notable fluctuations in admission scores.
