The event attracted the attention of many Latvian businesses looking for opportunities to cooperate and expand business in the Asian region, including Vietnam - a dynamic and potential market.

The workshop is an opportunity to update the overall picture of trade and investment relations between Latvia and Vietnam, and introduce the favorable business environment, investment attraction policies and competitive advantages that Vietnam possesses in the global supply chain. This is also a kick-off activity for the visit and working session of the Latvian business delegation to Vietnam, scheduled to take place from September 2 to 11, 2025, organized by LCCI in coordination with the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden, representatives of the Overseas Market Development Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade, representatives of LCCI in Vietnam, and a number of Latvian experts and businesses living and working in Vietnam. The practical sharing and multi-dimensional perspectives have provided the Latvian business community with a clearer picture of the potential for cooperation with Vietnam in the coming time.

This is one of a series of promotional activities for the Vietnam International Sourcing Fair 2025, a key trade promotion event directed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and hosted by the Department of Overseas Market Development. The fair aims to support businesses in their efforts to participate more deeply in the global production and supply chain, as well as connect directly with international distribution systems, importers, and retailers.

This year's event will take place from September 4 to 6, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, with an exhibition area of ​​over 10,000m², gathering hundreds of manufacturing and exporting enterprises and international buyer systems to participate in a series of seminars and in-depth trade connections.

In addition to the Latvian business delegation that is being prepared, more than 10 Swedish businesses have confirmed their participation with the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden, including some notable businesses such as H&M, Port of Gothenburg, GFI Stockholm, East Asia Food, etc.
