Support the construction of a model for intensive cultivation of yellow camellia in Phieng Cam commune

According to the plan, the model will be implemented in the period of 2025 - 2027 with a scale of 2 hectares planted under the forest canopy in Phieng Cam commune. 10 households participating in the model, with a minimum land area of ​​1,000m2, voluntarily commit to sustainable forest protection, and are supported with seedlings of clear origin, meeting production and circulation standards; materials and fertilizers of guaranteed quality, in the list of permitted uses.

During the implementation process, the Agricultural Technical Center will organize training, seminars, and technical guidance on planting, care, and harvesting processes, while connecting businesses to consume products, targeting domestic and export markets. The total cost of implementing the model is more than 277 million VND.

The model aims to promote the potential of land and specific climate of Phieng Cam to develop golden flower tea - a precious medicinal plant with high economic value, contributing to increasing income for people, promoting the shift of crop structure towards efficiency, associated with forest protection, green economic development and climate change adaptation.
