Phieng Pan Commune was established after merging Phieng Pan and Na Ot communes, currently has 8 schools with 5,088 students from kindergarten to junior high school. Mr. Hoang Huu Phong, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: The commune has met with school principals to grasp the situation, direct the development of plans for the new school year, ensure facilities, improve the quality of teachers and arrange the network of schools and classes to suit local conditions.
As a border commune with many ethnic minorities, the socio -economic life is still difficult, so some schools are still lacking. The commune directs schools to closely coordinate with the government and organizations to grasp the situation, propagate and mobilize students to attend class, and resolutely not let students drop out of school due to difficulties. At the same time, it requires schools to ensure boarding conditions: kitchen, dining room, and housing are neat and clean; food warehouses are scientifically arranged, with import and export tracking books; cooking staff comply with protection regulations, use food of clear origin, and ensure food safety and hygiene.
In the new school year, with State and socialized funds, Phieng Pan commune repaired a number of classrooms. Up to now, over 97% of classrooms are solid, less than 3% are semi-solid. The whole commune has 377 cadres and teachers at all levels; schools focus on professional training, meeting the requirements of the new general education program. Currently, 100% of teachers meet standards, more than 12% above standards; the whole commune has 3/8 kindergartens and general schools meeting national standards.
In the 2025-2026 school year with the theme "Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development", Phieng Pan commune directed educational institutions to focus on maintaining student numbers, increasing attendance rates, reducing dropouts; improving the quality of mass education and key students; continuing to innovate teaching methods, student care and education. At the same time, focus on digital transformation, administrative reform, innovation in teaching content and methods, to achieve the best results.
