Support disadvantaged youth, ethnic youth

At the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union in Binh Thanh District , Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union in Ho Chi Minh City Doan Truong Quang said that in the coming time, it is necessary to invest in the movement "I love my Fatherland", building a generation of pioneering youth, full of ambition, aspiration, and creativity to participate in the development of the locality, the city, and the country.

The Association focuses on promoting young people to participate in the project "Saigon River - My City's River", supporting disadvantaged youth and ethnic minority youth to create a colorful community picture of the locality. The Congress has consulted 39 members of the Association's Committee, Secretary of the District Youth Union Bui Thi Nhu Ngoc is the President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thanh District for the 2024-2029 term.

The key contents of the new term include praising young people who live beautifully and usefully, and progressive young people who follow Uncle Ho's teachings; building five new green spaces; supporting young people to improve their digital capacity, supporting innovative start-up projects of young people; consulting, career guidance and job introduction for young people, of which 30% have stable jobs; exploiting 16.5 billion VND of sources to support young people to borrow for economic development ...

* Previously, the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Chanh district had consulted 39 members to the Youth Union Committee, Deputy Secretary of the District Youth Union Le Thi Thanh Tam was consulted to be the President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Chanh district for the 2024-2029 term.

The congress approved key projects including the construction of a youth park and five digital transformation routes. At the same time, it built an ecosystem to support young people in starting and establishing businesses, accompanying young people to become global citizens, supporting rural youth in doing business and continuing the "One Commune One Product OCOP" program.

In addition, there are indicators on supporting young people to start businesses, providing knowledge to transfer the application of new science and technology into production, and shifting crop structure. At the same time, it also helps young people improve their foreign language and IT skills, international volunteer exchange activities and invites international youth to participate and actively integrate.
