Isometrix and Kengo Kuma's handshake at Haus Da Lat
Haus Da Lat is a real estate project following the ESG (sustainable development) direction, located in front of Xuan Huong Lake, Da Lat. The project has received much attention from domestic and international media due to the combination of many legendary world brands, including contemporary architect Kengo Kuma as architectural and landscape designer and lighting "wizard" Isometrix Lighting & Design.
Haus Da Lat impresses with the idea of preserving and regenerating the ecosystem of the pine forest city.
The project is considered an important step forward in contributing to the conservation and regeneration of the Dalat ecosystem. In April, Isometrix and Kengo Kuma will complete the landscape and lighting design, and open the pine forest conservation park and iconic fountain, becoming a new destination for local people and domestic and international tourists.
Pine Forest Conservation Park promises to be a new destination attracting domestic and international tourists.
At Haus Da Lat, the landscape park and lake are created with soft lines, in harmony with the floating dock and curved wooden floors, creating a space for sightseeing, relaxation, connecting with nature and outdoor art events.
A vivid and delicate picture of nature at Haus Da Lat.
Delicate and meticulous in arranging and setting up the landscape, Kengo Kuma brings a vivid picture of nature in the middle of a pine forest park with more than 50 carefully tended flower species, moving through the four seasons and changing color over time.
To create a harmonious picture of nature and architecture in every moment, Kengo Kuma joined hands with Isometrix - a globally renowned lighting design company behind iconic lighting works around the world thanks to its ability to combine light with architecture, culture and emotions to create unique spaces.
Nighttime Artwork Illuminated by the Legendary Isometrix
Isometrix's philosophy of lighting is not only about technology and equipment but also about harmony with nature. Isometrix spent more than 2 years carefully researching the 24-hour lighting at Haus Da Lat to program lighting times that are suitable for the natural environment and surrounding light sources.
The flower gate is lit with a diverse lighting system, subtly transitioning from day to night.
Welcoming residents and visitors of Haus Da Lat is a flower gate with a special curved arch made of wood and climbing flowers, arranged like a work of art designed by Kengo Kuma.
Isometrix illuminates the flower gate with a diverse lighting system, switching from day to night. At night, the light source will be used to illuminate the roots and trunks of the trees; gradually darkening towards the top, creating a clear, realistic feeling of the vegetation. During the day, the light source from above will be used, combined with natural light to create sunlight, shining obliquely through the gaps between leaves and branches.
Floating stage on water - new light symbol of Dalat.
Passing through the flower gate is a floating stage with a 20m high musical fountain. This is a project illuminated by Isometrix to become the new light symbol of Da Lat. Visitors can see the light symbol, no matter where they are around Xuan Huong Lake.
Isometrix uses colored lights and color-changing effects to control the light through each water jet and around the fountain, and is programmed specifically for each event, different times will have different effects. The lights are also synchronized with music to create a multi-sensory art space.
The lake surface at night is as beautiful as a thousand falling stars.
On the lake surface, Isometrix uses spotlights and fiber optics to shine close to the water surface, creating the feeling of falling stars and a brilliant night scene. "We programmed the lighting effects so that the trees reflect on the lake surface with realistic colors and highlight the landscape lake. Claude Monet's painting of a water lily pond was also our inspiration when designing the lighting here," shared an Isometrix representative.
Peaceful, unpretentious beauty at Haus Da Lat.
Isometrix not only cares about calculating the illuminance but also focuses on the feeling and experience of visitors when entering the space. The light source is designed discreetly, unobtrusively, not shining directly into the eyes but still feeling the light and effects on every step.
Illuminating the path that leads residents and visitors home, Isometrix's lighting engineers do not want to create obstructive structures, so they will arrange lights on trees along the road and on the ground among flower bushes, along the path to create a sense of peace.
Night coffee stations are like works of art.
The coffee stations along the street are illuminated by Isometrix with a diverse lighting system, 100% of the corners are illuminated to create a highlight at night. At the butterfly-shaped resting points, lights are designed on the walls and programmed to create moving light following the effect of flying butterflies.
In addition, Isometrix focuses on using sustainable materials and technologies, minimizing energy waste, and creating designs that have a positive impact on the environment.
Isometrix is renowned for its ability to design lighting that elevates architectural features. Any tower or structure that is lit by Isometrix becomes a symbol of a city, with the sophistication in the way it depicts color and emotion through the story of light and the rigor in the process of selecting projects and accompanying architects.
