Recently, Miss Vietnam Ethnic Groups 2022 Nong Thuy Hang attracted attention when performing the S-shaped ao dai collection. Wearing a delicately hand-embroidered ao dai, the beauty from Ha Giang exuded a graceful, proud yet gentle beauty, true to the spirit of Vietnamese women.

The graceful and elegant beauty of Miss Nong Thuy Hang in every catwalk step attracted all eyes, giving the traditional ao dai a new lease of life.

Every time the silk fabric flutters in the wind, it honors the beauty of Vietnam and its people.

According to designer Hoang Ly (right), the S-Shape collection is not only a profound tribute to the nation's glorious past, but also a symbol of faith in a bright future, where cultural and historical values are preserved, promoted and spread strongly in modern life.

"April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025 is a big milestone in the Vietnamese consciousness. I chose this day to remind us not only to preserve independence and sovereignty but also to preserve our heritage. Ao dai is a symbol of culture, a way for me to tell history through needle and thread," she shared.

Standing side by side with Miss Nong Thuy Hang is Ao Dai Ambassador - model Hoang Duc (far left), creating an artistic performance in the program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Inspired by the curved shape of Vietnam like the letter S, a sacred symbol in the hearts of every citizen, designer Hoang Ly brings designs that blend tradition and modernity.
Each Ao Dai is meticulously hand-embroidered, embellished with ethnic patterns on a high-quality silk background, combined with a typical red and yellow color palette, creating an overall look that is deeply Vietnamese, rich in emotion and identity.

For designer Hoang Ly, it is not simply about fashion designs, but also a journey of telling historical stories through fabrics, embroidery threads and love for the nation.
